📘 Product Overview

The Baby Elegance Be By Me Bedside Cot is designed for safe co-sleeping and can be used as a free-standing bassinet. It is suitable from birth up to 24 months (maximum 15kg).

🛡️ Safety Warnings

• Discontinue use when baby can sit, kneel, or stand unaided
• Never use with more than one mattress or added sleep aids
• Keep away from heat sources, cords, and fire
• Always fasten anchor straps to the bed in sleeper mode
• Do not leave baby unattended with the side down unless secured to the bed
• Only use with adult beds 43-53 cm in height and max 180 cm wide
• Regularly check for loose or damaged parts

📦 Components Checklist

• A) Bassinet frame
• B) Mattress
• C) Wheels x4

🛠️ Assembly Instructions

1. Unpack the frame and place on a level surface
2. Push down each leg until it locks into place (click sound)
3. Lift the upper frame until it locks
4. Close the mesh panel zips
5. Fasten Velcro underneath the bassinet body
6. Insert wheels into the legs
7. Fit mattress into the bassinet

📏 Adjusting Height

1. Press the height adjuster button on one side
2. Repeat for the other side – ensure both are set equally

There are 6 height settings available.

🛏️ Switching to Bedside Sleeper Mode

1. Open mesh panel zips
2. Push side button and slide to drop the mesh panel
3. Move cot to parent’s bed and align heights
4. Pull anchor straps and loop under and over bed base
5. Lock buckles and tighten straps securely
6. Ensure wheels are locked before use

🔄 Folding Instructions

1. Remove mattress and unfasten the cover
2. Press side mold buttons and fold down top rail
3. Compress the bassinet base
4. Wrap mattress around and fasten with Velcro
5. Press button on lower legs to fold feet inward

🧼 Cleaning & Maintenance

• Clean removable fabric with warm water and mild detergent
• Spot clean non-removable parts with a damp sponge
• Do not use bleach or dry clean
• Air dry completely before storing
• Do not store when wet – risk of mold or mildew
• Regularly inspect and repair worn or broken parts
